M. Veramendi League No. 1, A-17 <br /> and the James Curtis Survey A'::'3, Hays County, Texas, being a portion <br /> of that 38 acre tract described in a deed from Rogers C. Wilson, et <br /> ux, to Rosemary Wilson McTaggart dated December 15, 1967 and recorded <br /> in Volume 221, Page 230 of the Hays County Deed Records and being a <br /> portion of that 45 acre tract described in a deed from Rogers C. Wil- <br /> son, et ux, to Rogers D. Wilson dated December 15, 1967 and recorded <br /> in Volume 221, Page 232 and later corrected in Volume 255, Page 208 <br /> of the Hays County Deed Records (Brittain Tract). Mayor Craddock <br /> opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to speak in favor <br /> of the annexation, and no one did. Mayor Craddock asked if anyone <br /> wished to speak in opposition to the annexation, and no one did, so <br /> Mayor Craddock closed the public hearing. <br /> Mayor Craddock introduced a public hearing on an annexation of 60.606 <br /> acres, located in the William Ward Survey No. 3, Abstract No. 467, and <br /> the Joel Miner Survey, Abstract No. 321, Hays County, Texas (located <br /> North of Mile Marker 209 and South of the Yarrington Road intersection <br /> with IH35 North). Mayor Craddock opened the public hearing. No one <br /> wished to speak in favor of the annexation or in opposition to the <br /> annexation, so Mayor Craddock closed the public hearing. <br /> Mayor Craddock introduced a public hearing and approval of a Zoning <br /> Ordinance on first reading, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE <br /> WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE <br /> OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED SEPTEMBER <br /> 29, 1980 (VOL. 54) BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF LOT NOS. <br /> 9 6 AND 97 OF THE PARK ADDITION, A/K/A 915 LBJ, FROM <br /> "R-l" (SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT) TO "TH" <br /> (TOWNHOUSE RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT). <br /> Mayor Craddock stated the owner of the property, Matalee Grusendorf, <br /> had withdrawn her request for the zoning change, but since the public <br /> hearing had been published in the newspaper, anyone wishing to speak <br /> for or against the zoning request could do so. Mayor Craddock then <br /> opened the public hearing. No one wished to speak in favor of the <br /> zoning request. Pat Norwood opposed the zoning request, but did not <br /> go into detail as to why since the request had been withdrawn for <br /> the Council's consideration. City Manager Gonzalez stated if the <br /> owner of the property wished to proceed with a zoning change on this <br /> property at any time In the future, that a public hearing would again <br /> be offered. No one else wished to speak in favor or in opposition <br /> to the zoning change, so Mayor Craddock closed the public hearing. <br /> Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance <br /> on first reading, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING CHAPTER 13 1/2 OF THE CODE <br /> OF ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY TO ADOPT THE 1976 EDITION <br /> OF THE UNIFORM MECHANICAL CODE AND ESTABLISHING AN <br /> EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />
