Creek Natural Area within the San Marcos River Watershed and Edwards Aquifer recharge zone (see <br />attached maps). The Barker Tract 0-\ is bounded on the South bVPurgatory Creek, and |sSituated along <br />the southeastern boundary, ofthe Edwards Plateau within the BalmneoCmnymlands, whore densely <br />wooded hillsides provide critical nesting habitat for the federally endangered Go|&en-cheeked Warbler and <br />Black'cupped\/irco. Rocky korstfeaturem found on Barker Tract B- lhc|pto recharge the Edwards <br />Aquifer, which supports seven other federally-listed species.
