59 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, JULY 25, 1983 PRESENT: Mayor Emmie Craddock Council Members Karl W. Brown Gerald G. Farr * Fred Guerra Betty Jane Kissler John A. Kreczmer Jaime Moore City Manager A. C. Gonzalez City Secretary Janis K. Womack City Attorney Barbara Jean Edwards Director of Finance Earl Williams City Planner Joe Garza Also Present: Mark Palmer, Tom McNair, Jim Neuhaus, Olga Garza, Gregg Echols, Jerri Martin, Bryan Clayton, Bridgette Alexander, Joe Cox, Brenda Smith, Terry Ewald, Shirley Wickersham and others. Mayor Craddock called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Regular Meeting of July 11, 1983. Ms. Kissler moved to approve the minutes and Mr. Kreczmer seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Special Meeting held July 18, 1983. Mr. Brown moved to approve the minutes and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: AYE: Brown, Farr, Craddock, Kissler, Kreczmer. NAY: None. ABSTAIN: Moore. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of an appointment to the Building Code Board of Adjustments and Appeals. Mr. Farr moved to appoint Mark Palmer and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of two appointments to the Zoning Board of Adjustments and Appeals. Mr. Moore moved to ap- point Harry Philo and Jim Neuhaus and Mr. Farr seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of one appointment to complete a vacancy on the Zoning Commission until the expiration of the term of Carlos Tijerina (October, 1983). Mr. Farr moved to place the names of Henrietta Harris and Tom NcNair into nomination for the Council's consideration and Mr. Brown seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. On roll call the following vote was recorded: Harris: Kreczmer, Moore. McNair: Brown, Farr, Craddock, Kissler. Mr. McNair will be the member completing the term of Mr. Tijerina. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of an appointment of a Council Member to the Capital Area Planning Council (CAPCO). Mr. * Fred Guerra was not present at this meeting.
