In addition to the final report, the airport layout plan (ALP), height hazard zoning maps and noise exposure
maps will be prepared at appropriate scales.
The precise graphic format, base mapping, aerial photographic requirements or other technical details
desired by the City may be determined prior to execution of the professional services agreement. The
consultant is willing to develop a final graphic product into the format or medium required by the City.
TASK 16.0. PUBLIC HEARING
The FAA requires a public hearing for environmental assessments, which are required for major
expansions, such as new runways or extensions. An environmental review, as anticipated for this project
will not require the formal proceedings of a public hearing; however, it is both highly recommended and
profitable to include public involvement throughout the planning process. Public information meetings,
informal and informative in nature. should be conducted as a minimum, once the development of
alternatives is completed and again prior to the publishing of the final report.
TASK 17.0. MASTER PLAN COORDINATION MEETINGS
Coordination of the master plan should be an ongoing process throughout the development of the plan.
Specific review and coordination meetings will be conducted following Task 4.0 - Forecasts of Aviation
Demand, Task 6.0 - Development of Alternatives and Task 15.0 - Draft Master Plan Report. Participants
in the process will include the City, the FAA, Airport Advisory Board and other interested parties.
TASK 18.0 . FINAL MASTER PLAN REPORT
At the completion of the study, a final draft report will be prepared that will be primarily based upon the
technical memoranda/working papers previously submitted. The report wilt be submitted to the City for
review and comment, as indicated on the proposed project schedule. Following subsequent review and
comment by the City, the FAA and other officials or parties, a final report will be prepared, along with an
executive summary which will present the study results and recommendations in a brief format intended
primarily for public distribution.
In addition to the final report, the airport layout plan (ALf), height hazard zoning maps and noise exposure
maps wi/J be prepared at appropriate scales.
The precise graphic format, base mapping, aerial photographic requirements or other technical details
desired by the City of San Marcos may be determined prior to execution of the professional services
agreement. The consultant is willing to develop a final graphic product into the format or medium required
by the City.
SCHEDULE
The schedule for the scope of work is 180 days as indicated in the project schedule.
GEOGRAPHIC LOCA TION
As shown on the vicinity map, San Marcos Municipal Airport is located approximately 24 miles south of
Austin, Texas.
