2.1.4 The Consultant shall perform all its duties in a good, timely, and workmanlike manner. ARTICLE 3 ADDITIONAL SERVICES 3.1 GENERAL 3.1.1 Additional Services are not included as part of the services to be provided by the Consultant under Basic Services, Article 2. 3.1.2 The Consultant will furnish Additional Services only when authorized by the Sponsor in writing. 3.1.3 Additional Services include special or technical investigations, tests, samplings, surveys, or other service not otherwise delineated in the Project Narrative which are required during the course of the work to be performed. 3.1.4 Additional Services may include the publication of a summary ("popular") report which shall be a brief, non-technical graphic representation of the proposed development, primarily intended for public distribution. ARTICLE 4 COMPENSATION 4.1 PAYMENT FOR ARTICLE 2 SERVICES 4.1.1 The fees for services described in Article 2 shall be a lump sum amount and shall be full compensation for all items of work defined therein. For these services, the Consultant will be paid the sum of $64,430.00. The billing period for said services will be calendar months. The lump sum amounts do not include payment for Additional Services listed in Article 3. 4.1.2 Consultant shall present invoices for payment from time to time. Payment to Consultant shall be made when the Sponsor receives payment from the FAA. In no case shall partial payment billings be in excess of the value of the services completed at the time a statement is rendered. 4.1.3 The Sponsor certifies that it is duly constituted to undertake the project as requested to the consultant and that it will be financially responsible for payment of Consultant's fees as authorized in this agreement. 4.2 PAYMENT FOR ARTICLE 3 SERVICES Payment for services described in Article 3 shall be computed on the basis of hourly rates for manpower classifications as follows: - 2- -
