<br /> CITY OF SAN MARCOS ELECTRIC UTILITY <br /> ELECTRIC TARIFF <br /> MEDIUM GENERAL SERVICE - TIME-OF-DAY RATE <br /> RATE SCHEDULE - MGS-TD <br /> <br />DETERMINATION OF BILLING DEMANDS <br /> The "On-Peak Billing Demand" each month shall be the highest <br />kW demand established during any 30 minute period during the <br />On-Peak Period for the month. <br /> The "Off-Peak Billing Demand" each month shall be the highest <br />kW demand established during any 30 minute period during the <br />Off-Peak Period for the month in excess of the On-Peak Billing <br />Demand. <br />POWER FACTOR ADJUSTMENT <br /> The monthly metered demands may be adjusted to an equivalent <br />90% power factor for billing purposes when the power factor at any <br />point of delivery is determined to be less than 90%. Such <br />adjustment will be deferred for six months at a new point of <br />delivery to allow for corrective action by the customer. <br />INTERRUPTION OF SERVICE <br /> The City will make reasonable provisions to insure <br />satisfactory and continuous service, but does not guarantee a <br />continuous supply of electrical power and energy and shall not be <br />liable for damage occasioned by interruptions of service or <br />failure to commence delivery caused by acts of God, or the public <br />enemy, or for any cause reasonably beyond its control, including, <br />but not limited to the failure or breakdown of facilities, floods, <br />fire, strikes, or actions or orders of any agency having <br />jurisdiction in the premises, dr for interruptions which are <br />necessary for inspection, repair, or changes in equipment or <br />facilities of the City or its bulk power suppliers. <br /> The Customer shall notify the City immediately of any <br />defects, trouble or accident which may in any way affect the <br />delivery of electric service by the City. <br /> - 10 - <br />
