<br /> Page 8 <br /> 2.11.3 Each collection truck shall at all times be equipped with <br /> a shovel and a broom, or rake, to be used for the collection of <br /> spilled materials. <br /> 2.11.4 The COIr.rRAC'l'OR 's vehicles and other equipment must be <br /> clearly identified with the name, address, and phone number of the <br /> COlftRAcmR 's local office on each of its passenger doors. This <br /> information shall be visible and legible at a distance of 100 <br /> feet. <br /> 2.11.5 The COB"mACroR shall furnish the CIft with a list <br /> identifying, by make, capacity, serial number and license plate <br /> number, all equipment to be used in fulfilling this agreement and <br /> notify the CIft immediately of any additions or deletions. <br /> 2.12 PUBLIC EDUCATION PROGRAII The COIr.rRACTOR shall provide a <br /> <br /> high level of cooperation with the CITY and its citizens in <br /> carrying out the collection of recyclable materials under this <br /> Contract. <br /> 2.12.1 The COIr.rRACTOR shall implement a public education program <br /> during the sixty (60) day period prior to the c ornmenc emen t of <br /> recyclable materials collection service. <br /> 2.12.2 The education program shall consist of the following: <br /> 1. A personal visit by the CORTRACTOR's representative <br /> to each residential unit to deliver recycling <br /> containers. <br /> 2. The distribution of printed educational materials <br /> which will inform customers of the types of <br /> materials that will be collected, ideas on how to <br /> place materials in recycling containers and their <br /> designated recycling day. <br /> 3. Provision of a full-time employee to educate the <br /> San Marcos community through public speaking <br />
