<br /> Page 2 <br /> 7) DIRECTOR - Assistant Director of the Department of <br /> Public Works or anyone authorized to act for the <br /> Director. <br /> 8) DWELLING UNIT - Any group of rooms located within a <br /> dwelling and forming a single habitable unit with <br /> facilities which are used, or are intended to be used, <br /> for living, sleeping, cooking and eating. <br /> 9) RECYCLABLE MATERIALS - Those items or classes of items <br /> within the residential and commercial solid waste <br /> stream which can be processed and reused in some <br /> significant way. Those recyclable items identified <br /> for collection by the CITY are subject to change with <br /> mutual consent of CI~ and CONTRACTOR. <br /> 10) WORK - The furnishing of all labor, materials, <br /> equipment, and other incidentals necessary for the <br /> successful completion of the Contract by the <br /> CONTRACTOR and the carrying out of all duties and <br /> obligations imposed by the contract on the CORTRAC~R. <br /> ARTICLE 2 <br /> CONTRACTORS SERVICES ARD RESPONSIBILITIES <br />2.0 SCOPE OF WORK The COIftRACTOR shall provide curbside <br /> <br />collection and marketing of recyclable materials from such single <br />family, duplex, and triplex residential dwelling units located in <br />the contract area which are currently billed for solid waste <br />collection service by the City of San Marcos. The recyclable <br />materials collection service shall include furnishing all labor, <br />equipment, tools, materials, insurance, supervision, and all other <br />items incidental thereto and performing all work necessary to <br />complete the work, as specified, for the collection and marketing <br />of the specified recyclable materials collected within the <br />contract area.
