<br /> Mr. Mark Rose <br /> August 21, 1991 <br /> Page TWo <br /> On a quarterly basis, the City shall furnish LCRA all <br /> information needed by LCRA to determine the amount, if any, <br /> payable to the City for such sick leave utilization. Such <br /> information shall include, but not be limited to names, <br /> social security numbers, number of hours of sick leave taken, <br /> dates on which sick leave was taken, and hourly rates of <br /> pay. LCRA shall pa:: the City the amount due in accordance <br /> with this agreement within 30 days of receipt of such <br /> information. <br /> On October 31, 1991, LCRA agrees to pay the City either (1) <br /> an amount equivalent to 80 hours of annual leave for each <br /> transferring employee, or (2) the number of actual hours of <br /> annual leave accrued by a transferring employee as of October <br /> 1, 1991, for each transferring employee, whichever is less. <br /> The City will credit each transferring employee 80 hours of <br /> annual leave or the. number of actual hours accrued by the <br /> transferring employee if less than 80 hours, on its books and <br /> employment records. If a transferring employee has over 80 <br /> hours of annual leave accrued as of October 1, 1991, LCRA <br /> will pay such employee an amount equivalent to the. balance, <br /> after subtracting the 80 hours transferred to the City, of <br /> annual leave accrued or 1.60 hours of annual leave., whichever <br /> is less, reduced by ,my applicable taxes. <br /> The City will waive the application of Section II (H) of its <br /> Personnel Policy Manual to transferring employees who have <br /> satisfactorily complnted their initial 90 days of emploYment <br /> with LCRA. On Octobt'~r 1, 1991, LCRA will notify the City of <br /> any transferring employees who have not satisfactorily <br /> completed their initi.al 90 days of, employment with LCRA as. of <br /> October 1, 1991. Transferring employees who have not <br /> satisfactorily completed their initial 90 days of emploYment <br /> with LCRA will tram!J fer to the City the unexpired term of <br /> this probationary period. <br /> The City agrees to '(,Jai ve the thirty day waiting period for <br /> health insurance coverage and will cover pre-existing <br /> conditions. LCRA. will offer continuation of health insurance <br /> for such employees in accordance with COBRA. <br /> This letter of agreement contains, and is intended by the <br /> ci ty and LCRA. as a final. expression of, the entire agreement <br /> between the City LCRA with respect to the transactions <br /> contemplated by this agreement, and supersedes. all prior oral <br /> or written agreemen't:s, arrangements or unders.tandings with <br /> respect thereto. <br /> - <br />
