for its reliance on any such information supplied by CITY provided that ARCHITECT does not know or reasonably cannot be expected to know of any deficiency or error in such information supplied by CITY. 2 . 6 The CITY shall furnish all legal, accounting and insurance counseling services as may be necessary at any time for the Project, including such auditing services as the CITY may require to ascertain how or for what purposes the Contractor uses the money paid by or on behalf of the CITY. 2.7 The CITY shall furnish required information and services and shall render responses and conduct its review of written materials as expeditiously as possible. 2.8 The CITY shall pay all costs incident to obtaining bids or proposals from contractors (e. g., legal notice requirements and the provision of City facilities for pre-bid conferences). 2.9 The CITY shall ei ther direct the ARCHITECT to perform any Additional Services necessary to complete the Project or shall furnish such services itself. 2.10 The CITY shall pay all fees for filing and processing permits in connection with the Project. 2.11 The CITY shall bear all costs incident to this Article. 2.12 The CITY shall provide its standard construction contract documents which do not include plans or technical specifications, to the ARCHITECT prior to commencement of the design development phase, Section 1.2. 2.13 CITY shall furnish all necessary field surveys and geotechnical investigations which are required to collect design data. Field surveys for construction purposes generally include the layout of structures, pipelines, roadways, quanti ty and measurement determinations, and surveys required to establish location of land boundaries and corners. The ARCHITECT shall establish the scope of these surveys as set forth in Article 1, paragraph 1.5. 2.14 In the event that the CITY requires resident inspection services to be performed on the Project, the City shall provide building space suitable for use as an office, the storage of records, drawings, files, samples, contractor submittals and other work related material until thirty (30) days following completion of the project. -12-
