<br />for its reliance on any such information supplied by CITY provided that <br />ARCHITECT does not know or reasonably cannot be expected to know of any <br />deficiency or error in such information supplied by CITY. <br />2 . 6 The CITY shall furnish all legal, accounting and insurance <br />counseling services as may be necessary at any time for the Project, <br />including such auditing services as the CITY may require to ascertain <br />how or for what purposes the Contractor uses the money paid by or on <br />behalf of the CITY. <br />2.7 The CITY shall furnish required information and services and <br />shall render responses and conduct its review of written materials as <br />expeditiously as possible. <br />2.8 The CITY shall pay all costs incident to obtaining bids or <br />proposals from contractors (e. g., legal notice requirements and the <br />provision of City facilities for pre-bid conferences). <br />2.9 The CITY shall ei ther direct the ARCHITECT to perform any <br />Additional Services necessary to complete the Project or shall furnish <br />such services itself. <br />2.10 The CITY shall pay all fees for filing and processing permits <br />in connection with the Project. <br />2.11 The CITY shall bear all costs incident to this Article. <br />2.12 The CITY shall provide its standard construction contract <br />documents which do not include plans or technical specifications, to <br />the ARCHITECT prior to commencement of the design development phase, <br />Section 1.2. <br />2.13 CITY shall furnish all necessary field surveys and <br />geotechnical investigations which are required to collect design data. <br />Field surveys for construction purposes generally include the layout of <br />structures, pipelines, roadways, quanti ty and measurement <br />determinations, and surveys required to establish location of land <br />boundaries and corners. The ARCHITECT shall establish the scope of <br />these surveys as set forth in Article 1, paragraph 1.5. <br />2.14 In the event that the CITY requires resident inspection <br />services to be performed on the Project, the City shall provide <br />building space suitable for use as an office, the storage of records, <br />drawings, files, samples, contractor submittals and other work related <br />material until thirty (30) days following completion of the project. <br /> <br />-12- <br />
