<br /> lO5 <br /> Special Meeting August 30, 1983 Page 3 <br /> Mr. Farr moved the Council adjourn into Executive Session pursuant <br /> to Article 6252-17, §2 (g), V.A.C.S., to discuss personnel and Mr. <br /> Guerra seconded the motion, which passed unanimously (8:55 p.m.). <br /> Mayor Craddock moved the Council convene at 12:40 a.m. and Mr. Brown <br /> seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration the salary for the City <br /> Manager for the 1983-1984 fiscal year. Mayor Craddock moved the <br /> City Manager's salary be set at $39,000 and Mr. Moore seconded the <br /> motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: <br /> AYE: Brown, Farr, Guerra, Craddock, Kissler, Moore. <br /> NAY: Kreczmer. <br /> ABSTAIN: None. <br /> Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration the salary for the City <br /> Secretary for the 1983-1984 fiscal year. Mayor Craddock moved the <br /> City Secretary's salary be set at $17,500 and Ms. Kissler seconded <br /> the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> Mayor Craddock then moved the salaries for the Municipal Court Judges, <br /> Hernandez and Luizzi,and the City's Special Council, Chapman, and dis- <br /> cussion of the 1983-1984 budget be tabled until the next Council meet- <br /> ing and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> Mr. Brown then moved the Council adjourn into Executive Session pur- <br /> suant to Article 6252-17, §2 (g), V.A.C.S., to discuss personnel and <br /> Mr. Farr seconded the motion, which passed unanimously (12:45 a.m.). <br /> Mr. Farr moved the Council convene at 1:00 a.m. and Mr. Guerra second- <br /> ed the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration the salary for the City <br /> Attorney. Ms. Kissler moved City Attorney Barbara Edwards be termi- <br /> nated immediately and Mr. Guerra seconded the motion. On roll call <br /> the following vote was recorded: <br /> AYE: Brown, Farr, Guerra, Craddock, Kissler. <br /> NAY: Kreczmer, Moore. <br /> ABSTAIN: None. <br /> Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration award of bid for the Soft- <br /> ball Complex - Fencing. After some discussion the City Secretary was <br /> directed to place this item on the next Council Agenda for award of <br /> bid. <br /> Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration award of bid for the Soft- <br /> ball Complex - Lighting. Mr. Moore moved to award bid to M & N Electric <br /> for Hubbell lamps in the amount of $27,999.68 and Ms. Kissler seconded <br /> the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> The meeting adjourned at 1:08 a.m. on motion made by Mr. Guerra and <br /> seconded by Ms. Kissler.
