<br /> 1l9 <br /> Regular Meeting September 12, 1983 Page 7 <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL APPROVING AMENDED <br /> BYLAWS OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS INDUSTRIAL DE- <br /> VELOPMENT CORPORATION. <br /> Mayor Craddock moved for adoption of the Resolution and Mr. Farr <br /> seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration adoption of a Resolution, <br /> the caption which was read as follows: <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN SAID <br /> CITY AND THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH FOR SERVICES <br /> PURSUANT TO THE SPECIAL SUPPLEMENTAL FOOD PROGRAM FOR <br /> WOMEN, INFANTS AND CHILDREN (WIC); AUTHORIZING THE <br /> CITY MANAGER OF SAID CITY TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT <br /> AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> Mr. Brown moved for adoption of the Resolution and Ms. Kissler second- <br /> ed the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration the adoption of a Resolu- <br /> tion, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, ENDORSING AND SUPPORTING THE UNITED <br /> WAY OF GREATER SAN MARCOS CAMPAIGN FOR 1983-1984. <br /> Mayor Craddock moved for adoption of the Resolution and Ms. Kissler <br /> seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> Mr. Brown moved the Council adjourn into Executive Session pursuant <br /> to Article 6252-l7, §2(g), V.A.C.S., to discuss personnel and Ms. <br /> Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously (9:25 p.m.) <br /> Ms. Kissler moved the Coucil convene at 10:00 p.m. and Mr. Farr se- <br /> conded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval to employ legal <br /> counsel. Mr. Guerra moved the Mayor and Mayor Pro-Tem be given <br /> authority to advertise for legal counsel and Ms. Kissler seconded <br /> the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval for authoriza- <br /> tion to bid a tractor with slope mower. Ms. Kissler moved to author- <br /> ize going to bids and Mr. Farr seconded the motion, which passed unani- <br /> mously. <br /> Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval for authorization <br /> to bid a curb and gutter machine. Mr. Farr moved to authorize going <br /> to bids and Mr. Brown seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval for authorization <br /> to bid a small front end loader. Mr. Brown moved to authorize going <br /> to bids and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval for authorization <br /> to bid a temping machine. Mr. Brown moved to authorize going to bids <br /> and Mr. Guerra seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br />
