<br /> 4. Designate an individual to serve as liaison between the City and <br /> SCS, with authority and responsibility for reviewing and <br /> approving changes in the work described in Section A. Furnish <br /> such information in writing to the Assistant State <br /> Conservationist (Adm). <br /> 5. Review and approve the final drawings and specifications for the <br /> work described in Section A. <br /> 6. Upon acceptance of the work by SCS from the contractor <br /> assume responsibility for operation and maintenance in accordance <br /> with the Operation and Maintenance Agreement. <br /> 7. If applicable, complete the attached Clean Air and Water <br /> Certification and comply with the attached Clean Air and Water <br /> Clause. <br /> C. SCS will: <br /> 1. Provide 50 percent of the cost of constructing the works of <br /> improvement described in Section A. This cost to SCS is <br /> estimated to be $235,000.00. .> <br /> 203,000.00 Jf..;,. <br /> 2. Contract for construction of the works of improvement described <br /> in Section A in accordance with Federal contracting procedures. <br /> 3. Make changes in the work described in Section A. as mutually <br /> agreed upon with the City and modify the contract accordingly. <br /> 4. Provide authorized technical services, including but not limited <br /> to obtaining basic information; preparation of drawings, designs, <br /> and specifications; performance of layout, inspection services, <br /> and quality control during construction. <br /> 5. Arrange for and conduct final ìnspection of the completed works <br /> of improvement with the City to determine whether all work has <br /> been performed in accordance with the contractual requirements. <br /> Accept work from contractor and notify the City of acceptance. <br /> D. It is mutually agreed that: <br /> 1. No Member of or delegate to Congress, or Resident Commissioner, <br /> shall be admitted to any share or part of this agreement, or to any <br /> benefit that may arise therefrom; but this provision shall not be <br /> construed to extend to this agreement if made with a corporation <br /> for its general benefit. <br /> 2. In the event of default, any additional funds required to ensure <br /> completion of the jobs will be provided in the same ration as <br /> construction funds are contributed by the parties under the terms <br /> of this agreement; and any excess costs collected from the <br /> defaulting contractor or their surety are to be prorated between <br /> the City and SCS under the same ratio as construction funds <br /> are contributed under the terms of this agreement. <br />
