The CONSULTANT shall monitor and review the Work and results of all testing laboratories as required by OWNER. 3.4.14 The CONSULTANT shall conduct professional inspections to determine the Dates of Substantial Completion and final completion, to evaluate the Work for acceptable conformance with the Contract Documents and in light of any subsequent tests performed as described in Section 3.4.12 hereof, to verify that any minor deviations from the Contract Documents as described in Section 3.4.12 hereof have been corrected and that the reasons for any specific qualifications in any and all previous Certificates for Payment as described in Section 3.4.12 hereof are either no longer valid or the condition(s) and/or problem(s) have been corrected. The CONSULTANT shall receive and review written warranties and related documents required by the Contract Documents and assembled by the Contractor. The CONSULTANT shall issue a final Certificate for Payment or take other appropriate action. And, the CONSULTANT shall make a recommendation to OWNER regarding OWNER's acceptance of the PROJECT. 3.4.15 The extent of the duties, responsiblities and limitations of authority of the CONSULTANT as the OWNER's representative during construction shall not be modified or extended after the Contract Documents have been authorized to be competitively bid without written consent of the OWNER and the CONSULTANT and with notice to the Contractor. 3.4.16 Revise contract drawings (unless complete redrawing is required) to show the Project as constructed. Furnish a set of the reproducible record drawings, revised drawings to the OWNER, and furnish two (2) sets of reproducible record drawings, including airport layout plan, to the FAA. 3.4.17 Revise the Airport Layout Plan (A.L.P.) to show the Project as constructed. 3.4.18 Consulting services for Phase 3 will terminate thirty (30) calendar days after final acceptance, by the OWNER, of the Project. Consulting services after this time will be accomplished in accordance with provisions of Article 4. 3.4.19 The Consultant shall prepare a "Construction Materials Quality Control Summary" to be submitted weekly/monthly to the FAA. At a minimum, the summary shall include a list of all tests performed showing the date, location, pass or fail, results of retests, and whether or not the test is eligible or ineligible under the A.I.P. program. The Summary will include a certification that all testing was completed in accordance with the "Construction Materials Quality Control Plan." 3.4.20 The Consultant shall prepare a summary of materials not passing and the penalty called for by the specifications. -8-
