123 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, DECEMBER 29, 1983 PRESENT: Mayor Emmie Craddock Council Members Karl W. Brown Gerald G. Farr Fred Guerra * Betty Jane Kissler John A. Kreczmer * Jaime Moore City Manager A. C. Gonzalez City Secretary Janis K. Womack Acting City Attorney Charles Chapman City Planner Joe Garza Also Present: Mark Hendricks, Gregg Echols, Jerri Martin, Nina pryatel, Jane Woods, Rodney Cobb, Marcos Hernandez, Alphonso Washington, Jerry Heare, Jim Byrn, Melissa Millecam, John Stokes, Clark Heidricks, Joe Verdoorn, Augustin Lucio and others. Mayor Craddock called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Special Meeting held December 12, 1983. Mr. Brown moved to approve the minutes and Mr. Farr seconded the motion. On roll call the follow- ing vote was recorded: AYE: Brown, Farr, Guerra, Craddock. NAY: None. ABSTAIN: Kreczmer. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Regular Meeting held December 12, 1983. Mr. Brown moved to approve the minutes and Mr. Guerra seconded the motion. Mr. Guerra moved to amend the minutes on Page 2 to reflect that Pat Norwood lives In the area of the property rather than within 200 feet and Mr. Farr seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The Council then voted unanimous approval of the minutes. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Special Meeting held December 19, 1983. Mr. Farr moved to approve the minutes and Mr. Guerra seconded the motion. Mayor Craddock moved to amend the minutes on Page 5 in the next to the last paragraph to add the wording Craig White "to date and hereafter", and Mr. Farr se- conded the motion, which passed unanimously. The Council then voted unanimous approval of the minutes. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration one appointment to the Arts Subcommittee. Mr. Guerra moved to appoint Shirley Austin and Mayor Craddock seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration one appointment to com- plete a vacancy on the Senior Citizens Advisory Board. Mr. Guerra moved to appoint Mary Gonzales to complete the term of Bob Brisiel (whose term expires January, 1984) and Mr. Brown seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. * Ms. Kissler and Mr. Moore were not present at this meeting.
