<br /> -3- <br /> (II) "Aesthetic use" means the use of water for fountains, waterfalls, <br /> and landscape lakes and ponds where such use is entirely <br /> ornamental and serves no other functional purpose. <br /> (12) "Other outside use" means the use of water outdoors for the <br /> maintenance, cleaning and washing of structure and mobile <br /> equipment, including automobiles and boats, and the washing of <br /> streets, driveways, sidewalks, patios and other similar areas. <br /> ( 13) Waste includes, but is not limited to, allowing water to run off <br /> into a gutter, ditch or drain, or failing to repair a <br /> controllable leak. <br /> (14) "Impervious surface area" means any structure or any street, <br /> driveway, sidewalk, patio or other surface area covered with <br /> brick, paving, tile or other impervious material. <br /> (15) "Health care facility" means any hospital, clinic, nursing home <br /> or other health care or medical research facility. <br /> (16) "Water utility use" means water used for withdrawal, treatment, <br /> transmission and distribution by potable water systems. <br /> (17) "Power production use" means the use of water for steam <br /> generation and the use of water for cooling and for <br /> replenishment of cooling reservoirs. <br /> ( 18) "Agricultural irrigation" means irrigation for the purpose <br /> of growing c ro p s commercially for human consumption or to <br /> use as feed for livestock or poultry. <br /> (19) "Makeup" means partial refilling due to evaporative water loss <br /> and backwashing. <br /> (20) "Reused water" means water th~t has been recycled or reclaimed <br /> after it has been used for any beneficial purpose. <br /> Part 3: That all restrictions and provisions of this ORDER shall <br /> remain in effect until such time as this ORDER, or any portion <br /> of it, is rescinded by action of the City Manager. <br /> Part 4: A person who knowingly or intentionally violates or causes the <br /> violation of any restriction contained in Part 2 of this ORDER <br /> shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction <br /> shall be punished by a fine of not less than fifty dollars <br /> ($50.00) and not more than two hundred dollars ($200.00).
