19 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, OCTOBER 24, 1983 PRESENT: Mayor * Emmie Craddock Mayor Pro-Tem Karl W. Brown Council Members Gerald G. Hershorn, Bill pryatel, Nina pryatel, Susan Howard, Shirley Wickersham, Ken Long, David Valle, David Young, Sarah Bailey-Gray, Mary Anne Hood, Jim Byrn, Joe Cox, Jack Lindstrom, Bobby Dupree, Joe Dobie, Augustin Lucio, Joe Birdwell, Pud Rutledge, Roxanne McKinney, Helen Hanicak, Robert McDonald, Sue Braden, Joe Verdoorn, Gayle Ross, Les Buchanan, C. W. Whitford, Clark Heidrick, Jerry Haire, Jane Woods, Jack Vaughn and others. Mayor Pro-Tem Karl Brown called the meeting to order at 7:56 p.m. Mr. Brown introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Regular Meeting held October 10, 1983. Mr. Kreczmer moved to approve the minutes and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. Brown introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Emergency Meeting held October 13, 1983. Mr. Farr moved to ap- prove the minutes and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: AYE: Brown, Farr, Kissler. NAY: None. ABSTAIN: Kreczmer. There were not four votes of approval, so the City Secretary was directed to place these minutes of the November 14, 1983 Meeting for approval of the Council. Mr. Brown introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Special Meeting held October 17, 1983. Mr. Farr moved to approve the minutes and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unani- mously. Mr. Brown introduced for consideration approval of an appointment to the Planning Commission to fill a vacancy, which term would expire in October, 1985. Mr. Farr moved to table consideration of this matter to the November 14 Meeting and Mr. Kreczmer seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. * Mayor Craddock and Messrs. Guerra and Moore were not present at this meeting.
