Mr. Brown asked if anyone wished to speak in favor of the zoning re- quest. Jim Byrn reviewed the plan for the development of the subdi- vision with the Council. No one else wished to speak in favor or in opposition to the zoning request, so Mr. Brown closed the public hear- ing. Mr. Farr moved for approval of the Ordinance on first reading and Mr. Kreczmer seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. Brown introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance on first reading, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE APPRAISAL ROLL FOR 1983 WITH TAX A.f\10UNTS ENTERED THEREON BY THE TAX ASSESSOR- COLLECTOR AS THE 1983 TAX ROLL OF SAID CITY AND DECLAR- ING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mr. Kreczmer moved for approval of the Ordinance on first reading. Mr. Farr then moved the Ordinance be tabled and come before the Council for consideration as soon as possible when all of the roll is ready (when the real property is completed) and Mr. Brown second- ed the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. Brown introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance on first reading, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE PRICE AND CONDITIONS OF THE SALE BY THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, OF PART OF LOT SEVEN ( 7) IN BLOCK FIFTEEN (15), VICTORY GARDENS, SECTION ONE (1), A SUBDIVISION LOCATED IN SAID CITY, TO FRANK SILGUERO; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A WARRANTY DEED TO FRANK SILGUERO AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mr. Brown moved for approval of the Ordinance on first reading and Mr. Farr seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. Brown introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance on second reading, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED SEPTEMBER 29, 1980 (VOL. 54) BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF 0.16 OF AN ACRE OF LAND AREA IN THE J. M. VERAMENDI LEAGUE NO.
