The motion carried unanimously. <br />Public Hearing <br />19. 00PMReceive a Staff presentation and hold a Public Hearing to receive comments for <br />or against Ordinance 2013 -39, amending the Official Zoning Map of the City by <br />rezoning a 495.23 acre, more or less, tract of land, out of the John H. Yearby Survey, <br />Abstract No. 508, commonly known as the Gaslamp Project, located at the Northwest <br />corner of Old Bastrop Highway and Centerpoint Road from FD Future Development <br />District to SC Smartcode District; designating 61.163 acres, more or less, within such <br />tract of land as a Special District for research and light industrial uses; and including <br />procedural provisions, and consider approval of Ordinance 2013 -39. <br />Matthew Lewis, Director of Development Services, provided a brief presentation. <br />Mayor Daniel Guerrero opened the public hearing at 7:33 p.m. <br />Paul Bury of Bury Partners spoke in favor of this item. <br />There being no further comments; the public hearing was closed at 7:34 p.m. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Council Member Becak and a second by Council Member <br />Prather, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to approve Ordinance 201.3- <br />39.
