1'33 RAMON LUCIO, RIO VISTA, RIO VISTA ANNEX, AND BICENTENNIAL PARKS RECREATION DEVELOPMENT TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION 13 POTABLE WATER SYSTEM 13-07 GUARANTEE: a. It shall be the Contractor's responsibility to insure and guarantee the satisfactory operation of the entire system and the workmanship and restoration of the area. The entire system shall be guaranteed to be complete and perfect in every detail for a period of one year from the date of its acceptance, and he HEREBY AGREES to repair or replace any such defects occurring within that year, free of expense to the Owner. 13-06 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT: a. RIO VISTA ANNEX POTABLE WATER SYSTEM shall be installed as provided above from and including dry tap at existing water main to and including connection to the stubout of the building, as shown on the drawings. b. RAMON LUCIO POTABLE WATER SYSTEM shall be installed as provided above from and including wet tap at existing water main to and including 2"x2"xl" tee for connection to the drinking fountain. Cap 2" end of tee for future stubout, as shown on the drawings. c. No separate payment will be made for s.~kin'J., excavation and backfill (including excavation and backfill by hand in areas where other ut11iti.- dr. located), connections, fittings, adapters, specials # reducers, thru.8t blocks (concrete), valves, valve boxes, installing pipe, pipe sleeves, flushing, pressure testing, sterilizinq, to install a complete and operable water system as indicated on the plans, but all such items shall be considered to be subsidiary work pertaining to the itea bid. d. RIO VISTA ANNEX POTABLE WATER SYSTEM acceptably completed as provided above, will be paid for at the contract lump sum price bid for RIO VISTA ANNEX POTABLE WATER SYSTEM, wnich price shall be full compensation for furnishing all materials and equipment, making all taps and connections, and for all equ~pment, tools, labor, and incidentals necessary to complete the work. 13-4
