All backfill shall be per the requirements of <br /> Specification 3, and the details shown on the drawings. <br /> 17-06 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT: <br /> a. LOW WATER CROSSING work will be measured for payment as <br /> a complete unit. No separate measurement shall be made for <br /> excavation, subgrade preparation, corrugated metal arch pipes, <br /> hardware, concrete encapsulation, concrete footings and surface, <br /> reinforcing steel, ties, and finishing will be considered <br /> subsidiary work pertaining to the item bid. <br /> b. LOW WATER CROSSING, acceptably completed as provided <br /> above, will be paid for at the contract unit price bid for the LOW <br /> WATER CROSSING, which price shall be full compensation for <br /> furnishing all materials, and for all equipment, tools, labor, and <br /> incidentals necessary to completoe the work. <br /> 17-4 <br />
