Cleanup: <br /> (1) Should the Contractor in spite of all precautions <br /> specified in this section, stain or damage any wall surface, the <br /> responsibility of securing a perfectly clean repair of these stains <br /> is to be that of the Contractor. <br /> (2) Before the roof is given the final inspection by the <br /> Engineer, the Contractor personally shall make an inspection and <br /> shall see that all debris and foreign materials have been removed. <br /> 8-07 PAINTING: <br /> a. General: This section includes, but is not limited to, <br /> Finish Painting, and other related items necessary to complete <br /> project as indicated by the documents unless specifically excluded. <br /> b. Materials: <br /> (1) Basic Materials: All materials used under painting <br /> contract are to be as manufactured by an approved manufacturer, and <br /> shall be delivered on the work site in the original sealed <br /> containers. The following are among approved manufacturers: <br /> (a) The Sherwin Williams Company <br /> (b) E.I. DuPont Company <br /> (c) Pittsburgh Paints <br /> (d) Benjamin Hoore Paint Company <br /> (e) Pratt' Lambert, Inc. <br /> (f) The Glidden Company <br /> (g) DeVoe, Reynolds Co., Inc. <br /> (h) Val spar Corporation <br /> (i) Jones Blair <br /> (j) Bute <br /> The paint manufacturer selected to be used shall be used generally <br /> throughout the project. Brands shall not be mixed. Only the first <br /> quality professional label of each manufacturer will be approved <br /> and used. <br /> 8-6 <br />
