General: The accompanying plans and specifications cover <br /> the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, transportation <br /> services, etc., necessary for complete installation of electrical <br /> facilities. The work includes, but is not limited to the following <br /> items: <br /> (1) A complete system of wiring in rigid conduit from <br /> trench grade to ceiling height, and metallic conduit (or) at <br /> ceiling height for all power with all necessary switches, <br /> panelboards, junction boxes, outlets, lights, wiring devices, and <br /> other items necessary for a complete installation, as shown on the <br /> drawings and necessary for a complete and usable facility. <br /> (2) 'lhe Contractor shall pay all fees and obtain all <br /> permits as required in connection with his work. <br /> (3) At the finish of the work, this contractor shall <br /> furnish the owner a certificate showing the acceptance of the work <br /> done under his contract by the local inspector and payment of <br /> inspection fees. <br /> b. Codes: The 1987 National Electrical Code, the 1988 and <br /> 1989 supplements thereto shall be recognized as a minimum <br /> acceptable standard for work under these specifications, see <br /> 8-7 <br />
