<br /> 127 <br /> RAMON LUCIO, RIO VISTA, RIO VISTA ANNEX, AND BICENTENNIAL <br /> PARKS RECREATION DEVELOPMENT <br /> TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION 8 <br /> GROUP SHELTER <br /> Specification 9. The City of San Marcos has local supplements to <br /> the code which affect the construction. These are as follows: <br /> (1) All services less than 600 amps shall have outside <br /> disconnects. <br /> (2) Electrical Metallic Tubing shall not be allowed <br /> under concrete. <br /> (3) Mînimum wire size for all applications shall be #12 <br /> AWG. Aluminum wire less than 16 AWG shall not be allowed for any <br /> application. Copperclad wires shall not be allowed for any <br /> application. <br /> (4) Non residential electrical wiring of all types shall <br /> be in conduit. <br /> (5) All underground wiring shall be in conduit. <br /> (6) Romex cable shall not be used for non-residential <br /> construction. <br /> c. Service Connections: Electrical service will be brought <br /> in and installed as shown on the drawings. The electrical <br /> contractor shall furnish and install the necessary switches, <br /> panels, wire, conduit, etc., as required for a complete <br /> installation. This contractor shall verify location and type of <br /> service at the site. <br /> d. Systems of Wiring: <br /> (1) The electrical service will be 120/240 volts, single <br /> phase, 3 wire, 60 cycle service and lighting. <br /> (2) Branch circuits shall be 120 volts, 3 wire, single <br /> phase, for one duplex outlet and lighting. <br /> 8-8 <br />
