General: This section includes but is not limited to square <br /> tubing metal columns and the related items necessary to complete <br /> the project as indicated by the drawings unless specifically <br /> excluded. <br /> b. Materials <br /> (1) Columns - shall be made up of 6"x6"3/8" thick <br /> structural tubing confo~ing to ASTK specification ASOO. <br /> (2) Beam saddles -shall be made of 3/8" thick structural <br /> steel plate material confo~ing to ASTK specification A36, and <br /> shall be shop fabricated in required quantities as detailed in the <br /> drawings. <br /> (3) Welding - all welding shall be shop made in <br /> accordance with the American Welding Society Publication AI.O-69 <br /> entitled Code for Welding in Building Construction (A) shop <br /> painting shall confo~ to Fed. Spec. TT-P-645. <br /> c. Assembly: <br /> (1) Shop drawings shall be submitted for approval in <br /> accordance with FAR 52.236-21. Shop drawings shall include all <br /> shop and erection details¡ all members and connections shall be <br /> shown in their relative positions. <br /> (2) All work shall be of the Shop type, no field welding <br /> will be allowed. <br /> 8-11 CLEANUP: <br /> a. After all construction is completed all adjacent areas are <br /> to be cleaned of excess dirt, wood, C'Oncrete~, wire and all other <br /> debris and left in a neat and finished condition. <br /> 8-10 <br />
