l~S RAMON LUCIO, RIO VISTA, RIO VISTA ANNEX, AND BICENTENNIAL PARKS RECREATION DEVELOPMENT TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION 11 RESTROOM BUILDINGS 11-01 SCOPE a. This specification shall include all labor, furnishing all materials, equipment and services necessary for and reasonably incidental to the proper completion of the Restroom Building, including but not limited to all excavation work, backfilling, compacting, utilities, concrete work, concrete masonry unit work, brick work, woodwork, metal work, electrical, plumbing, painting, all as called for on the drawings and included in the specifications and/or as required for a complete and usable facility. b. The Contractor shall personally inspect the site of the proposed work to become familiar with all conditions under which the work is to be done. 11-02 STAKING OUT AND UTILITIES: a. The Contractor shall be entirely responsible for the correct staking out of the buildings. He/she shall establish a permanent benchmark near the building sites and shall run several axis lines locating the work, establish correct datum levels, and shall erect in a workmanlike and substantial manner all necessary stakes, batterboards and so forth. Before proceeding with the work he/she shall verify all lines with the Engineer or his authorized representative. b. The Contractor shall be responsible for connecting the electrical service. to the restroom building. All interior electrical work beginning at the underground junction box (junction box paid for under the corresponding exterior electrical system bid item) and conduit stubout shall be paid for under the restroom building bid item. c. Contractor will stub out sewer line 5' from building slab as shown on the drawings and install a cleanout. The remainder of the sewer work will be paid for under the corresponding sanitary sewer system bid item. 11-1
