<br /> 160 <br /> RAMON LUCIO, RIO VISTA, RIO VISTA ANNEX, AND BICENTENNIAL <br /> PARKS RECREATION DEVELOPMENT <br /> TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION 11 <br /> RESTROOM BUILDINGS <br /> (4) Floor Anchors: <br /> (a) Floor anchors shall be securely welded inside <br /> each jamb, with two holes provided at each jamb for floor <br /> anchorage. <br /> (b) Minimum thickness of floor anchors shall be 14 <br /> gauge. <br /> ( 5) Jamb Anchors: <br /> (a) Frames for installation in masonry walls shall <br /> be provided with adjustable jamb anchors of the T-strap type . <br /> Anchors shall be not less than 16 gauge steel or 0.156" diameter <br /> steel wire. Provide one (1) anchor at each jamb for each 2' of door <br /> height. <br /> d. Installation: <br /> (1) Set frames accurately, plumb, true in exact position <br /> designated. Brace them until enclosed. Anchor properly. Maintain <br /> frame in proper position throughout work. Frames should extend down <br /> to top of slab and anchor to the slab with floor anchors. <br /> (2) Erect metal doors properly with hardware as specified <br /> under Hardware Section. <br /> 11-11 HARDWARE: <br /> a. General: 'fhis sectiùn includes, but is not limited to, <br /> Finish Hardware and other related items necessary to complete <br /> project as indicated by the documents unless specifically excluded. <br /> b. Materials: <br /> (1) The number and symbols scheduled on the drawings <br /> establish the quality, merit and function required. <br /> (2) Fastenings: Hardware to be complete with all <br /> necessary screws, bolts, anchors or other fastenings for proper <br /> 11-12 <br />
