Such fastenings are to be of suitable size and type <br /> and harmonize with hardware as to material and finish. <br /> (3) Locks: Shall be mortise type, of design and material <br /> as scheduled. Paces shall be rebated, beveled or rounded as <br /> required. Strike lips shall be of length to protect jamb trim <br /> and to project no farther; all strikes shall have wrought boxes. <br /> These details shall positively be shown on the schedule. <br /> (4) Butts: Butts shall be of the class as scheduled on <br /> the drawings. All butts shall have sufficient throw to clear the <br /> door trim, plinth, or cove base¡ but shall have NO MORE THAN 1". <br /> All butts for out opening exterior doors shall have pins held in <br /> place by a set screw which can only be removed while the door is <br /> open. The Contractor shall see that all set screws are in place. <br /> (5) Finishes: Pinish of hardware shall be as scheduled. <br /> (6) Schedules: The successful bidder shall submit six ( 6) <br /> copies of the Pinish Hardware Schedule to the Engineer for <br /> approval. <br /> The Schedule shall be complete in every detail, listing all items <br /> of hardware being furnished and indicating the detailing of all <br /> items. Catalog cuts will be included. <br /> Each item of hardware shall be correlated with the drawings, by <br /> group headings and/or item numbers. <br /> (7) Guarantee: All materials furnished under this <br /> contract shall be guaranteed free from defects in manufacture, <br /> material and workmanship, and shall be capable of performing the <br /> duties required for which they are designed and for a period of one <br /> year after final acceptance. <br /> 11-13 <br />
