General: <br /> (1) The work included under this section of the <br /> specifications comprises the furnishing of all labor, materials, <br /> tools, transportation services, etc., necessary for the <br /> installation of a complete plumbing system in accordance with the <br /> intent of these specifications and the accompanying drawings. <br /> (2) All work shall be done in accordance with the <br /> Plumbing Ordinances and the rules and regulations of all local, <br /> state and federal departments and authorities having jurisdiction. <br /> (3) The work includes but shall not be limited to the <br /> following major items: <br /> (a) Exterior sanitary sewer system as shown on <br /> drawings (stubbed out 5' past the building line and terminating in <br /> a cleanout. <br /> (b) Interior san.i:tary drainage and vent system. <br /> (C) Interior water piping systems. <br /> (d) Necessary piping, fittings, valves, hangers, <br /> supports, plates, flashings I etc., required in connection with the <br /> installation of the various piping systems. <br /> (e) Insulation. <br /> (f) Testing and adjusting. <br /> (g) Plumbing fixtures and trim. <br /> b. Materials and Installation: <br /> (1) Sanitary Sewer Service: <br /> (a) All sanitary sewer pipe inside building up to <br /> and cleanout,shall be bell and spigot service weight cast iron soil <br /> pipe and fittings with neoprene gaskets. PVC sewer pipe meeting <br /> the requirements of Specification 12 of may be used for the <br /> Sanitary Sewer System beginning at the cast iron cleanout <br /> (approximately 5' form building line) and terminating at the <br /> connection to existing manhole. <br /> 11-18 <br />
