RICHARDSON COMPANY FOR COMPLETION <br /> OF THE FUNCTIONAL REPLACEMENT OF GARY JOB <br /> CORPS FACILITIES PROJECT, SAN MARCOS, TEXAS~ <br /> ACCEPTING THE PROJECT~ AUTHORIZING FINAL <br /> PAYMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $197,Ø62.44~ <br /> AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DEED FROM THE <br /> UNITED STATES OF AMERICA FOR 42.47 ACRES OF <br /> LAND, MORE OR LESS, LOCATED AT THE GARY JOB <br /> CORPS SITE~ AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO <br /> EXECUTE AN ASSIGNMENT OF RIGHTS IN THE PROJECT <br /> BUILDINGS TO THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF <br /> LABOR AND OTHER RELATED DOCUMENTS~ AND <br /> DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos, Texas engaged the services <br />of the J. K. Richardson Company for completion of a the Functional <br />Replacement of Gary Job Corps Facilities project, San Marcos, <br />Texas~ and, <br />WHEREAS, these services were provided pursuant to a contract <br />between the City of San Marcos, and the contractor entered into on <br />October 19, 1989~ now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN ~1ARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. That the Functional Replacement of Gary Job Corps <br />Facilities proj ect has been completed pursuant to that contract <br />of October 19, 1989, between the City of San Marcos and the J. K. <br />Richardson Company and the project is hereby accepted by the City <br />of San Marcos, Texas. <br />PART 2. That final payment in the amount of $197,Ø62.44 in <br />full and final payment for these services is hereby authorized. <br />PART 3. That the deed from the United States of America for <br />42.47 acres of land, more or less, located at the Gary Job Corps <br />site in San Marcos, Texas, a copy of which is attached hereto, is <br />hereby accepted. <br /> PART 4. That the City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, is hereby <br />authorized to execute an Assignment of Rights in Project Buildings <br />located at the Gary Job Corps site, San Marcos, Texas, a copy of <br />which is attached hereto, to the United States Department of <br />Labor, together with all other documents appropriate to the <br />transfer of the completed project. <br /> PART 5.
