<br />and between the United states of America, Grantor, acting by and
<br />through the Secretary of Labor, under and pursuant to the powers
<br />and authority contained in Section 516 of the Airport and Airway
<br />Improvement Act of 1982 (96 Stat. ,962; U:S.C. 22.15), Section 602a
<br />of the Fedèral property and Adroinlstrat~ve Servlces Act of 1949,
<br />and in conforroity with Part 154 of Title 14 and Section a.69b of
<br />Title 28 of the Code of Federal Regulations and in accordance with
<br />the request of the Administrator of the Federal Aviation
<br />Administration, herein called ffAdministrator", and the City of San
<br />Marcos, a Munic1pal Corporation located in the County of Caldwell,
<br />State of Texas, Grantee.
<br /> WHEREAS, it has been determined that the conveyance requested
<br />by the City of San Maroos of lands at the Gary JOb Corps Center is
<br /> it inconsistent with the needs of the Department of Labor,
<br /> WITNESSETH, that the Grantor, in consideration of the benefi ts
<br />which shall accrue to the public by virtue of the use of the
<br />property hereinafter described for public airport purposes, does
<br />hereby bargain, sell, grant and convey without warranty, expressed
<br />or implied, Subject to the conditions, covenants, and reservations
<br />hereinafter set forth, unto the Grantee all of its right, title,
<br />and interest in and to all those certain parcels of land designated
<br />as a portion of the Gary Job Corps Center, situated in the County
<br />of Caldwell, state of Texas, to wit:
<br /> A tract of land being that part of the Job Corps site
<br /> located south of and adjacent to the aircraft apron of
<br /> the San Marcos Airport, Caldwell County, Texas. This
<br /> tract is more particularly described as follows:
<br /> Beginning at the end point of the twenty.foQrth call of
<br /> the fielã notes of the í3õ3.Ú55 acre tract conveyed by
<br /> the United States of America to the city ot San Marcos
<br /> by that deed dated 14 February 1966, filed 18 February
<br /> 1966, and recorded 21 February 1966 in Volume 313, pages
<br /> 463, et sqq. of the deed records of Caldwell County.
<br /> This point, which was found marked with a 1/2 inCh
<br /> diameter iron bar (point 827), bears South 57 degrees 59
<br /> minutes 31 seconds East a distance of 711.14 feet from
<br /> the West Reference Mark, and South 67 degrees 21 minutes
<br /> 51 seconds West a distance of 977.73 feet from the East
<br /> Reference Mark.
<br /> Thence, from the point of beginning, South 89 degrees 58
<br /> minutes 32 seconds East along the south line of the San
<br /> Marcos Airport and the north line of the Gary Job Corps
<br /> Center as described in the field notes of that 20.751
<br /> acre tract recorded in Volume 376, pages 257, et sqq. a
<br /> distance of 787.45 feet to a 1/2 inch diameter iron bar
<br /> (point 814) found in place;
