<br /> -2- <br /> D. Equal Employment Opportunity/Fair Housing Requirements-- <br /> assist the City to document for the project file the City's <br /> EEO procedures including efforts at Equal Opportunity/Minority <br /> Hiring requirements stated in the TDoC contract; assist the <br /> City in meeting its Fair Housing Activity commitment. <br /> E. Labor Standards Monitoring--HEw shall participate as may be <br /> necessary in the construction phase of the project. Said <br /> participation shall include but not be limited to assuring <br /> that the correct wage determination is included in the <br /> construction contract, monitoring payrolls for wage and labor <br /> law compliance by the construction contractor; participating <br /> in the pre-construction conference, interviewing workers on <br /> the job site to spot check compliance, and monitoring any <br /> other Equal Employment Opportunity and Labor Standards <br /> requirements. <br /> F. Program Closeout--HEW shall prepare the final grant closeout <br /> report at the end of the project term and submit this report <br /> to the city for the close-out inspection findings. <br /> G. Meetings and Miscellaneous Services--HEW shall attend all <br /> workshops regarding compliance and implementation; attend and <br /> represent the City at monitoring visits by the State; respond <br /> to any questions or monitoring findings; and, perform other <br /> activities incidental to the project as requested by the <br /> Mayor, City Councilor City Manager. <br /> H. Audit Findings--HEW will assist the City in responding to any <br /> audit findings during the term of this contract. <br /> II. <br /> TIME OF PERFORMANCE <br /> These services shall commence on March 20, 1989, and in any event, all <br /> of the services required and performed hereunder shall be completed no <br /> later than the expiration of the City's contract with the State, unless <br /> otherwise specifically provided by the terms of this agreement. <br /> III. <br /> ACCESS TO INFORMATION <br /> It is agreed that all information and records as are existing and <br /> necessary for the carrying out of the work outlined shall be furnished <br /> to HEW by City. No charge will be made to HEW to facilitate the <br /> performance of the work described in the contract. <br />
