<br /> 3.4 The Administrative Committee is authorized to accept <br />contributions from any person or group, public, private or <br />corporate, so long as such funds can legally be contributed, and <br />provided that there is no limitation on the use of such funds <br />except for the furtherance of the goals provided in this <br />Agreement. <br /> 3.5 The Administrative Committee is instructed to make those <br />expenditures which are reasonable and necessary In order to carry <br />out the goals of this Agreement, including hiring one or more <br />persons or groups to assist the Administrative Committee in its <br />efforts. <br /> 3.6 The Administrative Committee shall not commit the <br />expenditure of any funds in excess of that which has been <br />deposited or pledged under this Agreement. <br /> 3.7 The exact amount of funds to be committed hereunder are <br />not known or knowable as of the date the Agreement will first be <br />executed. Therefore, it is not possible to prepare a budget at <br />this time. However, the expenditures shall be for the following <br />purposes: administrative expenses, education, legislative <br />coordinator and legislative consultants. As soon as practicable, <br />the Administrative Committee shall prepare a detailed budget <br />taking into account the funds deposited and committed hereunder. <br /> 3.8 Any monies remaining at the end of the term of this <br />Agreement shall be returned to the parties in the same proportion <br />as their individual contribution related to the total <br />contribution. <br /> IV. Effectiveness <br /> 4.1 This Agreement shall become effective as to each of the <br />political subdivisions who become a party to this Agreement as of <br />the date upon which this instrument is executed by the duly <br />authorized official of the political subdivision after this <br />official has been authorized to execute same by an approving <br />resolution, ordinance or order of the governing body of such <br />political subdivision, a copy of which shall be attached hereto <br />and shall remain in effect until rescinded by resolution, <br />ordinance or order of such political subdivision and notice of <br />such action is transmitted in writing to all parties to this <br />agreement. <br /> V. Term <br /> 5.1 The term of this Agreement shall be one year, unless <br />such term is modified by agreement of the parties. <br /> - 4 - <br />56220 <br />
