Because the certificate bearer will most likely present <br /> this certificate for redemption to the Public Works <br /> Department, Public Works should take possession of the <br /> original certificate. The certificate should be stamped <br /> "REDEEMED" in BIG, RED LETTERS. <br /> 2. Public Works should make a notation on the original <br /> redeemed certificate of the bearer's name, the date of <br /> redemption, and that the full amount of the water or <br /> sewer tap fee above the credit amount has been paid. <br /> 3. Public ~vorks sho uld keep a copy of the redeemed <br /> certificate, provide one to the City Secretary and <br /> forward the original, stamped, redeemed certificate to <br /> the City Attorney's office for his permanent files. <br /> George has requested that I inunediately prepare a certificate of <br /> credit to Mr. Newman Gibbs who has previously conveyed to the City <br /> an easement along Hunter Road under the agreement that we would <br /> provide him with the credit.
