<br /> CJD-14 A <br /> A. The purchase of infor.at10n is to be used <br /> in three primary areas: <br /> 1. Seeking and obtaining valuable in- <br /> formation of known reliable inform- <br /> ants to help solve major cases in- <br /> eluding drugs, burglaries, robberies, <br /> sex crimes, and auto thefts. <br /> 2. Setting up a Sting operation to determine <br /> if the property is stolen; then make arrest <br /> and obtain indictments on such criminals, <br /> and finally the conviction of these of~ndel <br /> 3. Purchase of drugs and narcotics which <br /> will lead to search warrant seizures <br /> and arrest of such offenders. <br /> The contributing agencies will split evenly the $5,000 <br /> ID.Jl cash contribution. <br /> Total Cost is $10,000. <br /> B. The office supplies are needed to maintain <br /> the office plus co~puter paper, toner, etc. <br /> (Cost $1,800). <br /> C. The phone services money will be used to <br /> purchase all phone needs. Each County is <br /> long distance for the co-ordinator except <br /> for Hays County and San Marcos (Estimated <br /> cost is $3,000). <br /> D. The radio maintenance money requested will <br /> be used to repair any mobile radio, hand- <br /> held radio, or the remote communication <br /> equipment (Cost $300). <br /> E. The miscellaneous equipment will be used <br /> to operate the office. Such equipment as <br /> staples, paper clips, pens, pencils, etc. <br /> wi 11 be needed to operate an office (Cost <br /> $1,500). <br /> Total cost of all supplies is S16,600 and the Agencies <br /> will equally pay the total of the local cash contribution. <br /> Requested CJ request is $11,600. <br />
