Mayor Craddock moved to <br />authorize bidding and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed <br />unanimously. The bids will be made through local insurance agents. <br />Mr. Farr moved the Council adjourn into Executive Session pursuant <br />to Article 6252-17, §2(g) and §2(e), V.A.C.S., to discuss personnel, <br />contemplated litigation and matters where the duty of a public body's <br />counsel to his client pursuant to the Code of Professional Responsibi- <br />lity clearly conflicts with this Article. Mr. Brown seconded the mo- <br />tion, which passed unanimously (10:27 p. m.) <br />Mr. Brown moved to convene at 11:12 p.m. and Mr. Guerra seconded the <br />motion, which passed unanimously. <br />The Council directed that City Attorney Hankins provide a Charter <br />Amendment in the April 7, 1984 Election Ordinance (to be adopted <br />January 30, 1984) to amend Section 3.11 of the Charter so that <br />all Ordinances shall be presented to Council and acted on in open <br />meeting on three several days. At the time of the first presen- <br />tation each Ordinance shall be read aloud. It shall be sufficient <br />if Ordinances are read by descriptive caption only. This direction <br />was given to Mr. Hankins so that the Council could utilize the <br />consensus agenda in the future. <br />The meeting adjourned at 11:15 p.m. on motion made by Mayor Craddock <br />and seconded by Mr. Guerra. <br />
