31 Regular Meeting January 23, 1984 Page 8 Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval for authorization to bid all municipal insurance policies. Mayor Craddock moved to authorize bidding and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The bids will be made through local insurance agents. Mr. Farr moved the Council adjourn into Executive Session pursuant to Article 6252-17, §2(g) and §2(e), V.A.C.S., to discuss personnel, contemplated litigation and matters where the duty of a public body's counsel to his client pursuant to the Code of Professional Responsibi- lity clearly conflicts with this Article. Mr. Brown seconded the mo- tion, which passed unanimously (10:27 p. m.) Mr. Brown moved to convene at 11:12 p.m. and Mr. Guerra seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The Council directed that City Attorney Hankins provide a Charter Amendment in the April 7, 1984 Election Ordinance (to be adopted January 30, 1984) to amend Section 3.11 of the Charter so that all Ordinances shall be presented to Council and acted on in open meeting on three several days. At the time of the first presen- tation each Ordinance shall be read aloud. It shall be sufficient if Ordinances are read by descriptive caption only. This direction was given to Mr. Hankins so that the Council could utilize the consensus agenda in the future. The meeting adjourned at 11:15 p.m. on motion made by Mayor Craddock and seconded by Mr. Guerra.
