Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration adoption of a Resolution, the caption which was read as follows: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN V.ARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING FINAL PAYMENT TO FREESE AND NICHOLS, INC., CONSULTING ENGINEERS AND PLANNERS, FOR CONSULTING, PLANNING AND DESIGN WORK FOR DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE MILL STREET DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT, PHASE II, IN SAID CITY; ACCEPTING SAID WORK; AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,900.00 AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mr. Guerra moved for adoption of the Resolution and Ms. Kissler second- ed the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval to award bid for a 72" front line mower for the Parks and Recreation Department. Mr. Guerra moved to award bid to Watson Distributing Co., Inc. in the amount of $7,633.00, and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval to award bid for a tractor for the Parks and Recreation Department. Ms. Kissler moved to award bid to Longhorn International of Austin, Texas in the amount of $11,368.00, the flail mower to Austin Ford Tractor in the amount of $2,045.00 and the post hole digger to Jim Winn Iron Works in the amount of $1,505.00, for a total of $14,918.00. Mr. Farr seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval to award bid for two pickup trucks with air conditioning for the Public Works Depart- ment. Ms. Kissler moved to award bid to Ellis Motor Company of San Marcos in the amount of $8,283.85 each, for a total of $16,567.70. Mr. Guerra seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval to award bid for two pickup trucks (without air) for the Public Works Department. Mayor Craddock moved to award bid to Ellis Motor Company of San Marcos in the amount of $7,763.35 each, for a total of $15,526.70. Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval to award bid for one 4-wheel drive vehicle for the Public Works Department. Mayor Craddock moved to award bid to Gillespie Motor Company of San Antonio in the amount of $8,980.60 (includes options) and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval to award bid for one survey vehicle for Public Works Department. Mr. Guerra moved to award bid to Hendrix GMC Trucks, Inc. of Austin in the amount of $11,506.91 and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unani- mously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval to award bid for one dumptruck for the Public Works Department. Mr. Guerra moved to award bid to Red Simon Ford of San Marcos in the amount of $17,970.00 and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
