<br /> 114 <br /> RESOLUTION 1989-73R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF A <br /> PROPOSED INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS AND THE SAN MARCOS INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT <br /> CONCERNING THE CITY'S PAVING OF A PARKING LOT OWNED BY <br /> SAID SCHOOL DISTRICT; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO <br /> EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, the San r.1arcos Independent School District desires to <br /> enter into an Interlocal Agreement with the City of San Marcos for the <br /> City's provision of the City paving a parking lot owned by said School <br /> District and located adjacent to San Marcos High School; and, <br /> WHEREAS, said School District agrees to pay the sum of <br /> Seven Thousand Eight Hundred and Forty-Four Dollars and Thirty Cents <br /> ($7,844.30) to said City for the paving of said parking lot, and, <br /> vJHEREAS, this interlocal agreement is entered into pursuant to <br /> Interlocal Cooperation Act, Vernon's Annotated Civil Statutes Article <br /> 4413 (32c); now, therefore; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the Interlocal Agreement between the City of San <br /> Marcos and the San Marcos Independent School District for the City's <br /> paving of a parking lot owned by said School District and located <br /> adjacent to the San Marcos High School, a copy of which is attached <br /> hereto, and made a part thereof for all purposes is hereby approved <br /> pursuant to the terms and conditions expressed therein. <br /> PART 2. That the City Manager of the City of San Marcos, Larry <br /> Gilley, be, and he is hereby authorized to execute said Agreement on <br /> behalf of said City. <br /> PART 3.
