114 RESOLUTION 1989-73R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF A PROPOSED INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS AND THE SAN MARCOS INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT CONCERNING THE CITY'S PAVING OF A PARKING LOT OWNED BY SAID SCHOOL DISTRICT; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the San r.1arcos Independent School District desires to enter into an Interlocal Agreement with the City of San Marcos for the City's provision of the City paving a parking lot owned by said School District and located adjacent to San Marcos High School; and, WHEREAS, said School District agrees to pay the sum of Seven Thousand Eight Hundred and Forty-Four Dollars and Thirty Cents ($7,844.30) to said City for the paving of said parking lot, and, vJHEREAS, this interlocal agreement is entered into pursuant to Interlocal Cooperation Act, Vernon's Annotated Civil Statutes Article 4413 (32c); now, therefore; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. That the Interlocal Agreement between the City of San Marcos and the San Marcos Independent School District for the City's paving of a parking lot owned by said School District and located adjacent to the San Marcos High School, a copy of which is attached hereto, and made a part thereof for all purposes is hereby approved pursuant to the terms and conditions expressed therein. PART 2. That the City Manager of the City of San Marcos, Larry Gilley, be, and he is hereby authorized to execute said Agreement on behalf of said City. PART 3.
