Legal services related to litigation or contested <br /> administrative proceedings would be billed at a different and <br /> higher rate to be discussed and approved on an individual basis <br /> as the need might arise. In addition, the City will be billed <br /> for all out of pocket expenses, including without limitation long <br /> distance telephone calls, copies, fax services, courier services, <br /> overnight mail, mileage, filing fees, and litigation related <br /> expenses, where appropriate. <br /> My time will be billed in increments of one-tenth of an hour <br /> with a minimum charge for any activity, including phone calls, of <br /> two-tenths of an hour. I will make myself available in San <br /> Marcos four times per month with travel time and mileage at my <br /> own expense. If additional trips to San Marcos are required, <br /> travel time and mileage will be billed to the City. The firm <br /> will provide you with a monthly statement for each active file <br /> reflecting date, activity and time for all billed services. <br /> Activity that might result in billings in excess of $5,000.00 per <br /> month must be approved by you in advance. <br /> You may, of course, discontinue use of my services at any <br /> time.
