G111ey, C1ty Manager <br /> SUBJECT: Sunset Advisory Commission Report <br /> DATE: August 18, 1989 <br /> ------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> ------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> The City Council has requested the City Staff to review the <br /> Sunset Advisory Commission's report and to make <br /> recommendations regarding the following boards and <br /> commissions: <br /> 1. Minority Business Enterprise Airport Committee. <br /> 2. Joint Airport Zoning Board. <br /> 3. Reinvestment Zone Number One-JASBA. <br /> 4. San Marcos Industrial Development Corporation. <br /> The attached correspondence provides the information <br /> requested by Council and represents the staff's <br /> recommendations regarding these boards and commissions. In <br /> addition to staff recommendations, I have included a letter <br /> from Mr. Jim Gandy of the San Marcos Chamber of Commerce <br /> regarding the San Marcos Industrial Development Corporation. <br /> I appreciate the efforts of the Sunset Advisory Commission <br /> and I believe that in addition to the recommendations <br /> provided in this report, the staff can work towards <br /> implementation of other recomendations by the Commission. <br /> city hall' 630 e. hopkins . san marcos, texas' 78666 . 512/353-4444 <br />
