<br />measuring the quantity of water delivered to San Marcos and to <br />calibrate such metering equipment not more frequently than once <br />every twelve (12) months. A meter registering not more than five <br />percent (5%) above or below the test results shall be deemed to <br />be accurate. The previous readings of any meter disclosed by <br />tests to be inaccurate shall be corrected for one-half (1/2) the <br />period elapsed since the next preceding meter test but in no <br />event to exceed six (6) months in accordance with the percentage <br />of inaccuracy found by such tests. If any meter fails to <br />register for any period, the amount of water furnished during <br />such period shall be deemed to be the amount of water delivered <br />in the corresponding period immediately prior to the failure, <br />unless GBRA and San Marcos shall agree upon a different amount. <br />The metering equipment shall be read weekly at or near the first <br />day of each week. <br /> All measuring devices shall be subject at all reasonable <br />times to inspection, examination and testing by GBRA and San <br />Marcos. Any measuring device which fails to function or which <br />functions incorrectly shall promptly be adjusted, repaired or <br />replaced by a like device having the required accuracy. <br /> J. Term of Contract. This Contract shall extend for a <br />term of thirty (30) years from the date hereof and thereafter may <br />be renewed or extended for such term, or terms, as may be agreed <br />upon by GBRA and San Marcos. <br /> K. Quality of Water. The water to be supplied under this <br /> <br />Contract shall be untreated water released from storage, <br />delivered to a Point of Diversion in the Guadalupe River, and <br /> 8 <br />
