The City Council of the City shall adopt a resolution appointing presiding <br />judges and alternate judges to serve in this election, and it shall be each such judge's duty to hold <br />the election in their respective precincts, and any vacancies occurring after the initial appointment <br />may be filled by subsequent resolution(s) of the City Council. <br /> <br />SECTION 8. Each presiding judge may appoint up to two clerks, and with the permission <br />of the City Clerk, additional clerks, to serve for each precinct in this election. <br /> <br />SECTION 9. The precincts numbered 111, 112, 113, 114, 116/314, 120,330,332/334,336, <br />and 446 shall be polling places for the election. <br /> <br />SECTION 10. Janis K. Womack is appointed clerk for early voting for the City. <br /> <br />SECTION 11. The main early polling place for early voting by personal appearance for the <br />election is City Hall, 630 East Hopkins Street in the City, and the temporary branch early polling <br />place for early voting by personal appearance for the election is the School Administration Building, <br />501 S. L.B.J. Drive. Early voting by personal appearance shall be conducted during normal working <br />days (excluding holidays) in the City Hall and the School Administration Building from April 17, <br />2002 through April 30, 2002, and the hours for early voting shall be from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. In <br />addition, early voting by personal appearance shall be conducted at City Hall and at the School <br />Administration Building on Saturday, April 27, 2002 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Temporary <br />branch early polling places for early voting by personal appearance for the City and School District <br /> <br />C:\TEMP\election 20022.doc <br /> <br />-6- <br />
