Mr. <br />Guerra moved for the reappointments of J. R. Thornton, Frank T. <br />Arredondo, Ofelia Vasquez, Raymond Johnson and John Dorbandt, and <br />Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of one appoint- <br />ment to fill the vacancy of Frank Taylor, whose term expires in June, <br />1984. Mr. Farr moved to appoint Mrs. Bob VanGundy and Mr. Moore se- <br />conded the motion, which passed unanimously. ~~l~~~ N <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of three appoint- <br />ments to the Reinvestment Zone Number One, City of San Marcos, Texas <br />(JASBA). Mayor Craddock moved to appoint P. C. Knox, Gene Majors <br />and Elida Mendez and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion. On roll call the <br />following vote was recorded: AYE: Brown, Farr, Guerra, Craddock, Kissler and Moore; <br />NAY: None; AND ABSTAIN: KreCZJ.œL Two rrembers will serve 2-year tenns and one rœrnber <br />will serve a one-year term, which by consensus of the Council it was decided the rœmber <br />'WOuld draw lots for their terms. The Boa.rd will be comprised of the following rœrnbers: <br /> <br />P. C. On roll call the following vote <br />was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: Brown, Farr, Guerra, Craddock, Kissler, Moore. <br /> <br />NAY: None. <br /> <br />ABSTAIN: Kreczmer. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance <br />on first reading, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 29-120 OF ARTICLE V <br />ENTITLED "TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES" OF CHAPTER 29 OF <br />THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY TO DESIGNATE CER- <br />TAIN LANES OF TRAFFIC FOR RIGHT AND LEFT TURNS ONLY; <br />DESIGNATING THREE ADDITIONAL LANES OF TRAFFIC FOR <br />RIGHT OR LEFT TURNS ONLY; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br /> <br />Mr. Brown moved for approval of the Ordinance on first reading and <br />Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br />
