<br /> SAN MARCOS ELECTRIC UTILITY <br /> ELECTRIC TARIFF <br /> ISSUED BY: CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS SHEET NO. <br /> EFFECTIVE DATE: 12/1/89 REVISION NO. <br /> <br /> MEDIUM GENERAL SERVICE - TIME-OF-DAY RATE <br /> RATE SCHEDULE - MGS-TD <br />MINIMUM CHARGE <br /> The monthly minimum charge shall be the sum of the "Customer <br />Charge", the "Demand Charge" and all applicable rate adjustments. <br />PAYMENT <br /> The due date of the bill shall be fifteen ( 15) days after <br />issuance, and payment must be received in the electric utility <br />office of the City by 5:00 P.M. on the due date. Any and all <br />amounts remaining unpaid after the due date shall be assessed a <br />charge in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the unpaid amount. <br />Payment from state agencies must be received within thirty (30) <br />days from receipt of bill, and any unpaid amount will be subject <br />to a 1% per month interest charge. <br />DETERMINATION OF BILLING DEMANDS <br /> The "On-Peak Billing Demand" each month shall be the highest <br />kW demand established during any 30 minute period during the <br />On-Peak Period for the month. <br /> The "Off-Peak Billing Demand" each month shall be the highest <br />kW demand established during any 30 minute period during the <br />Off-Peak Period for the month in excess of the On-Peak Billing <br />Demand. <br />POWER FACTOR ADJUSTMENT <br /> The monthly metered demands may be adjusted to an equivalent <br />90% power factor for billing purposes when the power factor at any <br />point of delivery is determined to be less than 90%. Such <br />adjustment will be deferred for six months at a new point of <br />delivery to allow for corrective action by the customer. <br /> -12- <br />
