<br /> AFFIRIIATIVE ACTION PRQGRAII EVALUATION <br /> Evaluating the Citys Current EEO Status <br /> Affirmative Action compliance and support of the <br /> city's Affirmative Action Program as a part of the <br /> evaluation of all supervisory personnel. <br /> An annual survey of current employees (Annual EEOC <br /> Report) indicates whether or not the city's <br /> employment policies and pratices are discriminatory. <br /> Underutilization or concentration of minorities or <br /> women in the City work force will be based on the <br /> "labor market" (the area in which the City can <br /> reasonably expect to recruit). Labor market areas <br /> for City of San Marcos Employees are as follows: <br /> San Marcos - Clerical <br /> Laborer <br /> Skilled <br /> Craft <br /> San Marcos/Austin/San Antonio <br /> Technical <br /> Paraprofessional <br /> Texas - Public Safety <br /> Professional <br /> Directors <br /> Nationwide - City Manager <br /> MONITORING PERFORMANCE <br /> The Affirmative Action Officer will prepare an annual Affirmative <br /> Action Report for submission to the City Manager. These reports <br /> will include statistics regarding new hires, terminations, and <br /> promotions categorized by race, ethnic group and sex. <br /> The Commission for Minorities will review the annual report and <br /> provide recommendations to the Affirmative Action Officer. <br />
