1 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, MAY 29, 1984 PRESENT: Mayor Emmie Craddock Council Members Karl W. Brown Bill Coddington Gerald G. Hankins Acting Finance Director Wayne Moore Director of Public Works George Boeker Director Administrative Services Dinah Elwell Also Present: Olga Garza, Mark Hendricks, Jerri Martin, Nina Pryatel, Lee Head, Bill Thomas, Don Laine, Kevin Smith, Ken Claybourn, Susan Newey, Augustin Lucio, Shirley Wickersham, Terry Colley, Tom McNair, Alan Geistman, Jeff Kester, Bill Smith, Mike Marek, Jim Byrn, Alex Stedman, Mo Johnson, Terry Lighthouse, Rodney Cobb, David Valle and others. Mayor Craddock called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Regular Meeting held May 14, 1984. Mr. Brown moved for approval and Mr. Guerra seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Emergency Meeting held May 15, 1984. Mr. Farr moved for ap- proval and Mr. Brown seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Special Meeting held May 21, 1984. Mr. Guerra moved for ap- proval of the minutes and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of an appointment of a Council Representative to the Capital Area Planning Council (CAPCO). Mayor Craddock moved to appoint Bill Coddington and Mr. Brown seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: AYE: Brown, Farr, Craddock, Guerra, Kissler. NAY: None. ABSTAIN: Coddington. Mayor Craddock opened a public hearing to consider approval of an Ordinance on first reading, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, M1ENDING THE MASTER PLAN FOR SAID CITY ADOPTED ON MAY 9, 1983 TO CHANGE THE LAND USE DESIG- NATION OF A 0.699 ACRE TRACT OF LAND LOCATED IN THE J. M. VERAMENDI SURVEY NO. 2 IN SAID CITY FROM HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL LAND USE TO COMMERCIAL LAND USE AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. * Jaime Moore was not present at this meeting.
