-~ AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS AMENDING APPENDIX C- SUBDIVISIONS OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY BY MODIFYING LANGUAGE IN ARTICLE V, SECTION A OMITTING REFERENCE TO PRELIMINARY PLAT AND ADDING LANGUAGE ON FEES; AMENDING ARTICLE V, SECTION B. 5 (a) CONCERNING FEES; CHANGING THE NUMBER OF COPIES OF PLATS REQUIRED IN ARTICLE V, SECTION B.3 AND CHANGING THE REQUIREMENTS FOR MYLARS; CHANGING THE NUMBER OF COPIES OF PLATS REQUIRED IN ARTICLE V., SECTION D.2.b.; CHANGING THE MYLAR REQUIREMENT IN ARTICLE V., SECTION E.l.b; OMITTING LANGUAGE IN ARTICLE V., SECTION E. 1.E.7 WHICH CONCERNS ENGINEERING CERTIFICATION OF A PLAT; CHANGING THE NUMBER OF COPIES OF PLATS REQUIRED AND FEES IN ARTICLE V., SECTION E. 3; CHANGING LANGUAGE IN ARTICLE V, SECTION E.le(10) IN THE CERTIFICATE OF RECORDATION ON A PLAT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. 17 ORDINANCE 1988-77 N fu \lJ 0 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. That Appendix C - Subdivisions, Article V, Section A is amended as follows: Article V, Section A. Preliminary conference. Prior to the official filing of a plat, the subdivider should consul t wi th and present a proposed plan of the subd i vision to the Director of Planning, or the Director I s designee for comments and advice on the procedures, specifications, and standards required by the City for the subdivision of land. A fee schedule will also be discussed during this preliminary conference. City fees are subject to change by action of the City Council and are non-refundable. PART 2. That Appendix C - Subdivisions is amended by the deletion of Article V, Section B.5.a. and the following substituted therefor: Article V, Section B.S.a. The subdivider shall pay fees relating to the subdivision process in amounts determined by resolution of the City Council. Such fees must be paid at the time of submission of the appropriate documents required by this ordinance which are related to each fee. PART 3. That Appendix C - Subdivisions, Article V, Section B.3 is amended as follows: Article V, Section B.3. - Replatting; short forms plat. The subdivider shall file fifteen (15) blue or black line copies of the plat with the commission at least fifteen days prior to the date at which the commission will consider the request. After the commission has considered the request and final approval has been established the subdivider shall provide the Planning Department with two (2) reproducible mylars (one for the City and one for the Hays County Appraisal District) and one (1) blue line linen within 9Ø days of approval of the plat unless there are extenuating circumstances explained in writing to the Planning Department requesting an extension. The Director of Planning or the Director I s designee shall obtain the signatures and record the plat at the appropriate county courthouse. PART 4. That Appendix C - Subdivisions, Article V, Section D. 2. (b) is amended as follows:
