<br />54 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1988-125R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO A CONTRACT <br />BETWEEN SAID CITY AND THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF <br />COMMERCE FOR THE PERFORMANCE OF RENTAL <br />REHABILITATION ACTIVITIES, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO <br />EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF SAID CITY, AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos, Texas did enter into a contract <br />with the Texas Department of Commerce, an agency of the State of Texas, <br />effective February 1, 1987 through September 30, 1988 for the <br />performance of rental rehabilitation activities; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br />therefore, <br /> <br />said <br /> <br />parties <br /> <br />desire <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />amend <br /> <br />said <br /> <br />contract; <br /> <br />now <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That Amendment No.1 to that contract between the City of <br />San Marcos, Texas and the Texas Department of Commerce, a copy of said <br />amendment being attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby <br />approved.. <br /> <br />PART 2. That the Mayor, Kathy M.. Morr is, be and she is hereby <br />authorized to execute said letter agreement on behalf of said City.. <br /> <br />PART 3..
