Brown <br />Bill Coddington <br />Gerald G. Farr <br />Fred Guerra <br />Betty Jane Kissler <br />** Jaime Moore <br /> <br />City Manager A. C. Gonzalez <br />City Secretary Janis K. Womack <br />City Attorney Lamar W. Hankins <br />Director of Public Works George Boeker <br />Director of Env. and Engineering Steve Jenkins <br />Director of Planning Frank Robbins <br />Director of Finance Nora Chavez <br /> <br />Also Present: Carolyn Roper, Tess Norris, Earl, Kay and Kacy Williams, <br />Mike Marek, Joe Dobie, Terry Jester, Wayne Moore, Ray Longoria, Ken <br />Kraus, Jim Byrn, Jake Krauskopf, Bob Guerin, Shirley Wickersham, Betty <br />Stansbury, Richard Bean, Gene Bagwell, Vince VandeWalle and others. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes <br />of the Regular Meeting held November 5, 1984. Mr. Farr moved for ap- <br />proval and Mr. Guerra seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of the minutes <br />of the Special Meeting held November 16, 1984. Mr. Coddington moved <br />for approval and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unani- <br />mously. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval to fund monies <br />for the new vehicle for the San Marcos Area Food Bank, and approval <br />of source of funding and anount of funding. Mr. Farr moved to table <br />this matter and Mr. Coddington seconded the motion, which passed unani- <br />mously. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock opened a public hearing to consider approval of an Ordin- <br />ance on first reading, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF <br />THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, BY REPEALING CHAPTER 2 1/2, <br />ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES, AND AMENDING THE GENERAL ZONING <br />ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS BY AMENDING SEC- <br />TION 30.B.2.; AND ADDING A SECTION 31.B.2. AND 3.; <br />BY DELETING SECTION 31.C.2. AND RENUMBERING THE RE- <br />MAINING SUBSECTIONS IN NUMERICAL ORDER; AND AMEND- <br />ING SECTION 35.H.3. BY DELETING THE PRESENT SECTION <br />AND SUBSTITUTING REGULATIONS PERTAINING TO THE OPERA- <br />TION OF ESTABLISHMENTS WHICH DISPENSE LIQUOR, WINE <br />AND BEER FOR ON-PREMISE CONSUMPTION; PROVIDING A <br />PENALTY FOR VIOLATIONS OF SECTION 35.H.3.; AND <br />ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Frank Robbins reviewed the contents of the Ordinance briefly and stated <br />the amendments the Council had made to the Ordinance in the Workshop <br />held November 14 had been made. Mayor Craddock asked if anyone wished <br />to speak in favor of the Ordinance or in opposition to the Ordinance. <br />No one did, so Mayor Craddock closed the public hearing. Mr. Guerra <br /> <br /> <br />* Mr. Brown was present at 8:35 p.m. <br />** Mr. Moore left the meeting at 10:15 p.m. <br />
