62 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, DECEMBER 8, 1986 PRESENT: Mayor J. E. Younger Mayor Pro-Tem Council Members Betty Jane Kissler Karl W. Hankins Frank Robbins George Boeker Steve Jenkins Also Present: Frank Calabrese, Mike Bryant, Jim Gandy, Austin Curlee, Sarah Bailey, Melissa, Millecam, Mark Hendricks, Dan Smith, Margie Villal- pando, Jack Lindstrom, Patsy Greiner, Frank Rich, Donna Farley, Ben Ford, Nick Caruso, Kelly Kilber, Scott McGehee, John Diaz, Sue Hahn, Henry Kause and others. Mayor Younger called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Mayor Younger introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Regular Meeting held November 24, 1986. Mr. Brown moved for approval and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Younger introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Special Meeting held December 3, 1986. Mr. Coddington TIDved for approval and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Younger introduced for consideration confirmation of the City Manager's appointment to the Civil Service Commission. Mr. Brown moved to confirm the appointment of Rosemary Suniga and Mr. Farr seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Younger introduced for consideration a public hearing and approval of an Ordinance on first reading, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING CHAPTER 35, COMPREHENSIVE DEVELOPMENT CODE OF THE SAN MARCOS CODE OF ORDINANCES, BY TEE ADDITION OF ARTICLE II, RESIDENTIAL SUBDIVISION COMPATIBILITY, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mayor Younger opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to speak in favor or in opposition to the amendment. No one did, so Mayor Younger closed the public hearing. Mr. Farr moved for approval of the Ordinance on first reading and for the typographical error in Section 800.801 to be corrected to read Planning and Zoning Commissions, and Mr. Coddington seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. - Mayor Younger introduced for consideration a public hearing and approval of an Ordinance on first reading, the caption which was read as follows: * Mr. Guerra was present at 9:12 p.m. ** Mr. Nicola was not present at this meeting.
